Chapter 613

After saying that, Emily rushed off to catch up with Estelle.

Amiee also got up and followed, but she didn’t say anything. She just grabbed her coat and keys and walked out.

Josiah watched Amiee’s retreating figure, hesitated for a moment, and didn’t follow her.

Charlie scoffed, “Well, everyone might as well leave!”

Yvonne suddenly grabbed a bottle of wine, lifted it to her lips, and started chugging. Josiah hurried to stop her, “Yvonne!”

The others also gathered around, trying to stop Yvonne.

Yvonne’s face was pale, tears filled her eyes, and she looked extremely wronged. “What did I do wrong? It was just a game. Did he have to protect Estelle like that and embarrass me?”

Charlie was about to leave, but he glanced back at Yvonne and instructed Josiah, “Take Yvonne home.”

Yvonne shook her head. “No, I want to be alone right now!”

“I’ll stay with you!” Josiah immediately said. He then turned back to the others, “You guys go. I’ll stay here with her!”

After this incident, everyone else felt uneasy and couldn’t stay any longer, so they all got up and left one by one.

With everyone gone, Yvonne leaned on Josiah’s shoulder, tears streaming down her face. “Josiah, you’re all I have left!”

Josiah comforted her by patting her shoulder. “Don’t worry. No matter what happens, I’ll always be on your side.”

Yvonne cried out in pain and sorrow.

Josiah hated Estelle for seeing Yvonne like this. He thought even more that Estelle had come between Jonathan and Yvonne, leading to the

current situation.

“Don’t worry about Estelle. Go get some rest,” Charlie advised.

“Are you home yet?” Emily asked.

“I’m in the car, almost there.”

“You should get some rest too!”

“Alright!”

After they finished talking, there was a brief pause, but neither of them hung up. Emily heard the sound of the man’s breathing and suddenly remembered their kiss in the private room earlier that day. Her heart raced, and she quickly hung up and tossed the phone aside.

It was just a game. She couldn’t take it seriously. Absolutely not!

Emily took a deep breath to calm herself down, telling herself not to think too much about it. She quickly went to take a shower and go to bed.
