“Come on, let’s go!” Gwen insisted, tugging at her arm. “You don’t have anything else to do tonight. Trust me, the ice cream at the cinema in the mall is amazing, you can’t find it anywhere else.” 

Hearing this, Estelle suddenly felt tempted. 

Besides, she’d never been to a cinema before. 

Jonathan was tied up with engagements that evening and had arranged for her to have dinner at Emily’s. She thought for a moment, and then asked, “Can I bring a friend?” 

“Sure thing, go ahead and call them!” Gwen urged her to invite her friend over. 

Estelle called Emily, told her about the movie plan, and Emily graciously agreed, saying she would come over after work. 

Once she hung up, Estelle texted Jonathan to update him, then she and Gwen headed off to the cinema. 

The two of them met Emily at the mall, and Estelle introduced them to each other. Gwen was a warm person and quickly hit it off with Emily.
