Chapter 73
When they got to the second floor, Fiona led them to her walk–in closet, opened the cabinet, took out a pile of clothes, and put them on the sofa. She whispered, “These clothes haven’t been worn before, Ms. Macclain, you can pick whatever you likes.”
“Okay” Estelle nodded casually.
Fiona didn’t dare to look at Jonathan and cautiously glanced at Estelle, her eyes flickering. “I’ll step out while Ms. Macclain changes,” she said, and hurried out with
her head down.
Jonathan waited for the door to close, then walked up and picked a dress from the pile for Estelle. “Try this one. I’ll wait for you outside.”
He didn’t leave the room. Instead, he just sat on the couch outside the changing area, separated by a curtain.
Estelle didn’t hesitate, turned around and quickly changed into the dress.
Jonathan hadn’t slept well the night before, so he closed his eyes for a quick nap while leaning against the couch. Soon, he heard the rustling of the curtain as Estelle stepped out “Done”
He slowly opened his eyes to see Estelle standing before him, already dressed.
The dress he picked was a mixed–colored long dress, with a simple light gray top and a pinkish–beige base, covered by a layer of gray gauze.
The dress was so long that it reached her ankles, covering Estelle’s white sneakers, and it made her slender figure even more exquisite. The soft colors added a touch of elegance and refined beauty to her.
Jonathan looked at her for a few seconds, then walked up and pulled off the black hairband from her ponytail, letting her hair fall down.
Estelle looked up in surprise.
Jonathan turned to choose a pearl hairpin from the nearby dresser, then slightly leaned in to help Estelle with her hair.
He reached around Estelle’s shoulders with both hands and held her. Using his fingers, he combed through her hair.
Jonathan was also pleased with his skill. He looked at the girl in the mirror and said, “Isn’t it perfect?”
Estelle gave a slightly mischievous smirk, “Isn’t that just because I’m good–looking?”
Jonathan stared into the mirror. Estelle’s eyes were beautiful and clear, her thick, long lashes framing them perfectly. Her lips were rosy pink; her teeth white. She had a natural makeup–free beauty. Her tied–up hair revealed her delicate white neck and prominent collarbones. The long skirt showed off her slim and well proportioned figure. Every detail of her was perfectly beautiful.
Jonathan’s gaze deepened, and his lips curled into a subtle smirk, blurring the line between admiration and mockery.
After three seconds of staring at each other in the mirror, Estelle’s heart skipped a beat, and she looked away, “Let’s go!”
She walked ahead towards the door Hearing Jonathan following her, she reached for the doorknob, but her shoulders were suddenly grabbed before she could open the door. He spun her around and pushed her against the wall, his tall figure looming over her, and he kissed her soft lips.
Estelle didn’t have time to close her eyes, and she found herself staring straight into the depths of his eyes, like a deep abyss that threatened to pull her in. He gazed intently at her, his kiss eager and passionate
Estelle closed her eyes in panic, hands pressed against the wall, inadvertently tilting her head back
