“Hmph!” Gwen shot him a glare, “What do you think I am? Do you think such a minor thing would affect our grand and steadfast friendship?” Craig snorted, “Grandness my foot. You mouth is grander; you’re the one who eats the most!”

“You dare make fun of me!” Gwen kicked him, “I’m going to teach you a lesson!” 

Craig ran off laughing, “With those short legs, you might just kick your own knee!”

Gwen stomped her foot in anger.

She was fed up with Craig’s constant teasing and spent the whole day thinking about how to reclaim her dignity.

The crew members complained about the weather while working and wrapped themselves in thick cotton coats.

The bad weather slowed down the shooting progress, and Estelle passed the time playing mobile games in the courtyard.

One afternoon, as Estelle was deeply absorbed in her game, a sharp voice rang, “Are you here to work or are you on vacation?” As she looked up, she saw Magdalen, dressed in a white cashmere coat, walking in.

She held a black umbrella, her beautiful features stood out against the pale sky and the green tiles, looking absolutely stunning! Carrying a bunch of snacks, Magdalen frowned at Estelle, “What are you doing? Aren’t you going to hug me when I arrive?”

“All your favorites, of course!” Magdalen took everything out of the paper bag.

Ice cream, mousse cake, chocolate mille–feuille…

Estelle grabbed the chocolate mille–feuille and started eating, putting the rest back in the bag to share with Gwen and Craig later. “Why are you here?”

“I’ve been quite free recently, so I came to see you!” Magdalen propped her chin on her hands, watching Estelle eat made her happy. “Have you set a date for your wedding with Morrison?” Estelle asked.
