Chapter 828

Jonathan’s face turned even darker, he snapped, “What’s it to you?”

“Jonathan, you don’t know the first thing about Estelle!” Yvonne said, both urgent and earnest, “I hope you’d see what kind of person she really is before marrying her, don’t be blinded by love.”

Jonathan frowned and asked, “What’s your point, Yvonne? If you have issues with Estelle, we don’t have to see each other anymore.”

With that, Jonathan turned to leave.

“Jonathan!” Yvonne called out, gritting her teeth, “Estelle might just be a fake name. She’s way more complicated than you think.”

Jonathan halted, turned back and scowled, “What are you implying?”

Yvonne stepped forward, a determined look on her face, “Come to your study, I’ll show you something.”

“What is it?”

“You’ll know when you see it.”

A few minutes later, they were in Jonathan’s study.

Yvonne shut the door, took out her phone, found a recording and played it for Jonathan.

In the quiet study, the recording played a conversation between two people,

Magdalen: “So, Jonathan still doesn’t know about your real identity?”

Estelle: “I’ll tell him when we go public after my graduation.” 

“There are still many things I haven’t done, I hope to sort out all other troubles before going public.” 

After the third replay, Yvonne picked up the phone, scrolled to a photo album and showed Jonathan a few pictures, “Look at this!”

Jonathan took the phone, saw pictures of Estelle and an unfamiliar man, the man affectionately holding her hand walking towards a Maybach.

There were five pictures in total, each showing an unusual relationship between the man and Estelle.

Yvonne said, “Look at the date of the photos, they were taken on Easter. I asked you why Estelle wasn’t with you, you said she wanted to go shopping by herself, but I caught these.”

Jonathan’s hand clenched the phone tightly, his face as gloomy as still water, “You had Estelle followed?”

“No!” Yvonne denied immediately, “I stumbled upon the pictures and recording, really, believe it or not!”

She paused, then continued, “If I wanted to stir up trouble, I would’ve sent you the pictures as soon as I got them. I didn’t do that because I was afraid, I might have misunderstood Estelle and cause problems for you guys.”
