Chapter 878

The crew’s work was done and dusted, Estelle and the studio had taken a bit of a break, and she’d been cooped up in her room all day.

She wanted to design a wedding dress for Magdalen herself.

So, she poured all her time and energy into the design, working from dawn till dusk, not giving herself a moment’s rest.

Sometimes, she’d suddenly stop while working on the design and stare blankly into the distance.

She would dream about Jonathan, about the time when she went back to C City, and he came to see her in the middle of the night, and they hugged each other on a busy street.

After Magdalen found out about their breakup, she was furious and wanted to confront Jonathan.

Estelle put her foot down and stopped her.

Chasing after a breakup wouldn’t change someone’s mind; it’d only make you look pathetic.

She had seen too many examples of this with Charlie’s ex-girlfriends.

When he said he was tired, it meant he was over it.

Magdalen showed up at the villa with a bottle of booze, and the two of them drank from evening till late at night. Estelle didn’t get drunk, but Magdalen got wasted and cussed out Jonathan,

“Who does he think he’is? Screw him, who cares!”

“He’s a jerk, he’ll regret this one day!”

“Ella, when he begs for your forgiveness, we won’t even give him the time of day!”

She went to the living room, poured herself a glass of water. She figured Magdalen would be thirsty after all that drinking, so she poured her a glass too.

She went into the guest room with a water glass, opened the door and went in, and called out, “Magdalen, you want some water?”

No one responded, Magdalen had fallen asleep.

Estelle couldn’t help but laugh. It was the only warmth she’d felt in a while. She covered Magdalen with the blanket that had slipped off, turned off the light, and went back to her room.

The next day, Magdalen woke up around noon, ordered takeout, and hung out at Estelle’s place for the afternoon. In the evening, she dragged Estelle out, “The last thing you should do after a breakup is mope around at home alone, the more you think about it, the sadder it will be! You need to go out and enjoy life, party till the sun comes up. Men are so not worth it! Listen to me, you must be right!”

She took Estelle to her private design studio, where the stylist picked out a super short black skirt for her and did her makeup.

Estelle wanted to resist, but Magdalen firmly kept her in the chair, “If you want to forget someone, you need to change, inside and out!”
