Chapter 927
It was Jonathan’s birthday and Yvonne was up early to send her well wishes over the phone, setting up a date for later that night.
Charlie had already booked a private room at Midnight Bar. That evening, everyone gathered at the bar to celebrate Jonathan’s birthday.
Yvonne’s life and career took a massive hit with the return of Gonzalez and the bombshell dropped by Magdalen.
The company decided to put everything on pause, suspending all of Yvonne’s assignments.
After a few days of moping around, Yvonne decided to cut back on work and put more effort into winning Jonathan back.
So, she went all out for Jonathan’s birthday, carefully choosing a gift, setting up the party, and picking out her outfit for the evening.
Even if she lost her career, as long as she became the wife of the Lamont Group’s president, she’d still be the life winner that all women would kill for!
Meanwhile, at J City Airport
At the private jet terminal, Jason pushed Estelle to a stop, calmly saying, “Just treat this as a vacation, don’t overthink it. I’ll take care of your graduation stuff and keep it on the down–low.”
Estelle nodded, “Thank you, Jason!”
Jason glanced at her and chuckled, “It’s all good, I’m used to it.”
Estelle felt more guilty, “I owe you more and more!”
She didn’t know if she would ever get a chance to repay him.
“Dork!” Jason half–squatted, looked up at her, and gently stroked her face, “Take care of yourself, and call me if you need anything.”
“Okay!” Estelle said.
Magdalen added, “I wouldn’t agree either, if you’re leaving, we’re leaving together. Don’t even think about sneaking off!”
Estelle was torn, she said sternly, “Both of you go back. Don’t piss me off!”
Magdalen huffed, “I’m the pilot, if you kick me out, can you fly the plane by yourself?
Manley said, “I’m the flight attendant, I have to provide service for my favorite passenger, so I can’t leave!”
Estelle took a deep breath, “Magdalen, you’re getting married soon, you know that? You can’t always be so stubborn!”
Magdalen suddenly went silent, her tone became serious, “Estelle, let me tell you straight up, Morrison and I have broken up.” Estelle was stunned, unconsciously furrowing her brows, “Why?”
