Estelle headed back to her room to brush her teeth, casting a casual glance at the package delivered, “Just leave it there.” 

By the time she came back, the package had been ripped open, a finely made gold foiled invitation lay on the table. 

Manley asked, “Are you really going to that person’s birthday bash?” 

“Yeah, I promised her yesterday” Estelle replied, sipping her porridge, her long lashes still adorned with fresh dewdrops 

“You can go if you want!” Manley put the egg on her plate. “I’ll go with you.” 

“They didn’t send you an invitation.” Estelle said offhand. 

“You got one, right? Bringing a plus one should be cool.” Manley said with a chuckle. 

Estelle shot him a look, “Don’t mess around!” 

“Don’t worry, I swear I won’t do anything” Manley gave a flirtatious wink, “Til just be there like a piece of furniture, standing quietly by your side!” 

Estelle pondered for a while, then nodded. “Okay”

Manley leaned in to give her a peck, but was swatted away by Estelle. 

In a day, it was Gwen’s birthday bash. 

She was a hotshot celebrity now, her birthday bash was in the spotlight too. However, Gwen had made arrangements in advance, planning a private party, shutting out all the press, only inviting acquaintances from her circle and fans who have always supported her 

In the evening Manley came to pick up Estelle 

When Estelle saw Manley, her eyes widened. He was wearing a white shirt, a blue plaid vest, black shades, looking like a model sitting in his azure sports car. 

She looked him up and down suspiciously, “Do you like Gwen, and you want to confess your love today? Manley burst out laughing looking at her white tee, jeans and furrowed his brows, “Are you planning to wear this? Even if you’re a natural beauty, and could care less about Gwen, you should at least dress up a bit. Go change into the dress I bought for you!”

Manleydighed. “You’re so cocky just because you’re pretty! If it wasn’t for Magdalen, you’d be full of yourself again! I dressed up thinking we’d make a grand entrance, now i feeLike a clown 

Estelle couldn’t help but laugh, turning her head slightly. 

Manley glanced at Estelle, the bright sunlight dancing on her face, his heart softened. Let her do what she likes! 

Gwen’s birthday bash was at the rooftop of the Sailing Hotel, the banquet hall was enormous, the outside was a sky garden, luxurious and extravagant. Manley got out of the car, walked towards Estelle, and held her hand as they entered the hall 

They got stuck in traffic on the way, so by the time they arrived, it was already dark, the hotel building was brightly lit, making it looking very bustling 

They took a private elevator upstairs. After the staff checked their invitation, they personally led them to the banquet hall 

The elegantly decorated banquet hall doors were wide open, even before they stepped in, they could hear the melodious plano music and faint chatter 

Estelle, whose hand was held by Manley, suddenly tensed up and instinctively tried to pull away 

But Manley immediately tightened his grip, turned to her with a gentle smile and said, “We’re about to meet old friends, are you nervous? 

Estelle took a deep breath, her eyes regained their calm, and she smiled, “No, let’s go in 

Manley glanced at her, held her hand tighter, and continued towards the banquet hall 

The fancy setup and distinguished guests gave this birthday party a real aristocratic vibe 

Estelle couldn’t help but smile. Gwen had finally gotten the life she always wanted! 

As the two of them entered, Estelle spotted Gwen straight away- 

She was dressed in a pink trailing gown crowned with pink diamonds, looking every bit a princess, chatting and laughing with her fans. 

Soon, she spotted Estelle too and quickened her pace towards her, lifting her skirt slightly 

“Estelle 

Gwen was visibly thrilled, her eyes sparkling with excitement. 

“You’re finally back! I’ve missed you so much these past two years! You haven’t changed a bit, you’re still so beautiful, no, even more beautiful than before!” 

Estelle smiled at the face that was somewhat unfamiliar, yet extremely well-known, “Really?” 

Manley couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Gwen actually had even gotten plastic surgery to look like Estelle! 

He had seen Gwen before and knew that she did resemble Estelle somewhat. But now, with some tweaks to her lips and nose, she looked more like Estelle than ever. 

Of course, she was still nowhere near as stunning as Estelle! 

“Of course Gwen deliberately pretended not to hear Manley’s ridicule, snorted coquettishly, and held Estelle’s hand, “You won’t leave again this time, will you?”; 

“Probably not.” Estelle gently withdrew her hand back
