Extel’s phone suddenly rang. She glanced at it, then stood up and walked to the side to answer the call.

Estelle said as she walked. “We’m at the Sapphire Hotel now” 

Manley asked, “What are you doing them?” 

“Mr. Foster’s throwing an engagement party Charlie brought me and Kya along” she replied. 

“You should’ve told me earlier, so I wouldn’t worry” Manley grumbled 

Estelle shrugged, a smile playing on her lips. “What could possibly go wrong? I’ll just be home a bit later.” 

“That’s not the point. If I don’t see you when I get home, I worry. It doesn’t sit right with me,” Manley huffed “Alright, I’m coming to get you now.”

She hung up and turned back to find Jonathan gone. 

Reseated and waiting, it wasn’t until Carson and Marina had finished speaking and the guests clapped that she got up to find Kya in the garden.

Estelle replied. “She’s my friend’s kid. She’s busy, so I’m looking after her.”
