Once they were a good distance away, Darcey, the assistant, immediately grumbled, “That Estelle, she’s such a pain! I should have called Mr. Lamont right away to deal with this!”

Gwen, with her head hung low, murmured, “It’s fine, let’s not bother him over something so trivial.”

“This can’t just slide. You’re the lead actress of this show, and Mr. Lamont’s girlfriend. Who does she think she is? Mr. Lamont will definitely sort her out!” Darcey fumed

“Enough, go get me an ice pack. We still have to film, need to get the swelling down fast!” Gwen said.

While someone else fetched an ice pack, Darcey looked at Gwen pityingly, “You’re too kind for your own good, putting up with such crap. That’s why people take advantage of you”

Gwen chuckled. “Estelle and I used to be really close. She’s just a little confused right now.”

“Confused?” Darcey scoffed, “You’re so naive. You have no idea how vicious people can be. Estelle is clearly jealous of your success and your amazing boyfriend. Mr. Lamont. That’s why she’s picking on you!”

Gwen smiled gently, “Yeah, I am so lucky, a slap from her doesn’t really matter!”

Darcey rolled her eyes. “You’re so beautiful and kind–hearted. You’ll become more and more famous and she’ll eat her heart out!”

Elsewhere, Craig, with medicine on his forehead, had a grim expression. After a while, he declared, “Estelle, from today, our friendship with Gwen is officially over

As Estelle was tending to his arm, she said softly. “Are you sure?”

She had seen it coming Craig was so upset because he thought Gwen shouldn’t have done that. Even though he disliked Gwen, he was still clinging to some happy memories from the past, which was why he was so upset.

Now, he was finally awake!
