Chapter 984
Steven, the leading actor, stepped forward, “What a stunning dress!”
Craig quietly gave Estelle a thumbs-up, “Estelle, you’re a wizard, you actually managed to get the dress!”
Mr. Kress still had a skeptical look, “How did you do it?”
Estelle responded, “I brought the dress back, can we start filming now?”
“Hold your horses!” Mr. Kress turned to Gwen, “Do you want to try the dress first?”
“No need!” Gwen got up and walked over to the new dress, her eyebrows furrowed slightly, “I don’t really like this dress, I prefer the previous one.”
Estelle didn’t say anything, but Craig couldn’t resist venting his anger, “Gwen, how could you do this!”
Gwen turned around, playing innocent, “What did I do? The previous dress was tailored for me. I think it suits me better and fits the scene we’re filming today. I’m just thinking about the plot, is that wrong?”
Clarice quickly chimed in, “I also think the previous one looked better!”
Craig glared at Gwen, his voice full of resentment, “Gwen, you really give me a whole new perspective on human nature!”
Gwen retorted, “Then your understanding of human nature is really shallow!”
Craig wanted to continue giving Gwen a piece of his mind, but Estelle grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
Mr. Kress scowled, “Craig, what are you trying to do? Do you want to quit the crew?”
Craig scoffed, “The dress was deliberately damaged, now Estelle brought a new one and you guys are still making excuses. You’re just trying to target Estelle, right?”
Craig grabbed Estelle’s wrist, gritting his teeth, “We’re not picking them. We’ll quit if we have to, and when Mr. Tucker comes back, we’ll let him deal with it!”
Mr. Tucker had temporarily taken on a short film task and was away on location; he wouldn’t be back for a couple of days.
Mr. Kress sneered, “Don’t try to scare me with Mr. Tucker, I might fire you before he comes back!”
“Go ahead, I’m not afraid of you!” Craig stood his ground.
“Everyone, cool it!” Steven stepped in, “Why don’t we film something else first, and let the people at GK take the dress back to fix it.”
