“You… Macy was about to curse, but suddenly stopped, realizing that if she was really convicted, her career would be over. She looked at Macy coldly and said, “I have given you a chance. You have been spreading rumors about me for so many days. Have you come to apologize? Is it because I don’t get angry that you think I am easy to bully? Well then, both of you can suffer. 

“Please give me a chance, I promise I will never do it again,” Macy pleaded, feeling completely panicked by Mariela’s attitude

After Skyla resigned, Lyla Glenn, a senior lawyer in the litigation department, was promoted to supervisor.
