Her mouth had been taped shut and her hands and feet were bound with ropes. 

The masked person next to her still held a knife against Angelica’s neck. 

Angelica’s mouth was sealed shut, unable to cry out, only tears streaming down her face as she looked at him, looking very pitiful. 

Mariela was heartbroken to see her little sister like this. 

She was just an innocent little child. 

In the morning, Angel was still playfully teasing her. How did it come to a life–threatening situation in just a few hours? Mariela steadied herself and said to the person, “You release my sister, and I will do whatever you ask of me.” 

“Come over here and switch with your sister,” said the masked man in his own voice, without the voice changer. 

It turned out to be a woman.

Lennon quickly ran a few steps to Mariela’s side and abruptly pulled her into his arms, his voice trembling with fear, “Don’t go, it’s dangerous.” Dalia looked at the scene in front of her, tears flowed down unconsciously, and her heart ached so much that she could hardly breathe. 

She laughed miserably, her eyes filled with pain.“What an enviable love it is.” 

“Lenny, you didn’t care about my life, but you care so much about her,” Dalia took off her hood.
