Lennon embraced her tightly, resting his chin on Mariela’s head, and spoke in a low and gentle tone, ‘It won’t hurt once I hold you.” Mariela smiled and said, “Sure, you’re kidding me.” 

“No,” Lennon gently stroked her soft hair, “It really hurts, be a good girl, let me hold you and I won’t feel the pain anymore.” Mariela buried her head in Lennon’s arms, feeling his breath. 

Jaime came back from the party and walked into the hotel lobby when he was suddenly called by someone, 

“Jaime.” 

He turned his head towards the sound and saw a young woman he had never seen before. 

The woman was covered from head to toe in famous brands. 

“Who are you?” Jaime asked, his eyes filled with confusion. He walked over and asked her, “Do we know each other? 

The woman leaned on the sofa and looked up at him slightly, “We met soon.” 

Jaime sat down on the sofa across from her and asked, “Who are you?” 

The woman smiled and said, “The Stark family adopted a daughter, Lauryn.” 

“The Stark family?” Jaime furrowed his brow.“Lennon Stark?” 

“Exactly,” Lauryn smiled, “Consider working with me?” 

Jaime was puzzled, “What cooperation?” 

Lauryn smirked, “I broke up Lennon and Mariela.” 

Jaime looked at her skeptically, “Why should I believe you?”

“However…” Lauryn said, “the condition for you to obtain this investment is to work with me and break up Lennon and Mariela.” Jaime took the business card and glanced at it.“Even if you don’t invest, I will find a way to break them apart.
