Lennon embraced Mariela from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder, and his hands wrapped around her waist. He spoke in a wickry, affectionate tone, “Marie.” 

Mariela let him hold her as she said, “These skewers will be ready soon.“Hmm,” the man’s breath enveloped Mariela tightly. 

Lennon would sometimes kiss Mariela’s neck and lightly bite her earlobe. His warm breath tickled Mariela, making her feel itchy, and the giggled. 

When Lennon tried to bite her ear again, Mariela laughed and dodged, “Stop messing around, everyone is watching 

Lennon’s voice was deep and sexy, “What’s there to be afraid of? Let them see how sweet we are? 

The single dog Darryl beside me said, “Hey Fiona, have you smelled something? 

Fiona sniffed and smelled, “What’s that smell? I only smell the aroma of grilled meat” 

Darryl sarcastically said, “It was the sour smell of love.” 

Lennon held Mariela in his arms and lazily said, “Nonsense, love was clearly a sweet taste. 

Over here, Lauryn watched Lennon and Mariela, who were shamelessly showing affection behind the barbecue grill, with her fingers 

clenched tightly, making a cracking sound. She was so angry that she almost developed breast nodules. 

After the meat was grilled, everyone gathered around the table to prepare for the meal. 

Two tables, Mariela, Lennon, Darryl, Carsen, Caylee, and Fiona were sitting together by default, while Lauryn and her two friends, along with Jaime, were at another table. 

Mariela and Lennon had just sat down when Lauryn walked over, carrying a bowl of something 

Lauryn placed the bowl on the table in front of Lennon, leaning down so close to Lennon that she was almost touching him 

“Brother, this is the oden I just cooked. Try it.” 

Lennon leaned slightly towards Mariela, distancing himself from Lauryn, and casually pushed the bowl in front of Mariela. “Marie, it’s oden, your favorite. Give it a try.” 

The smile on Lauryn’s face froze.
