Rayne frowned, wondering what kind of performance Bella was putting on again. 

After Bella finished speaking, she grabbed Lauryn’s hand and kept talking non–stop, completely ignoring Mariela as if she were invisible. 

Mariela noticed Bella’s deliberate provocation, but she wasn’t bothered. 

Bella liked Lauryn, but Lauryn didn’t like her, so it was perfectly normal for Bella not to like her. 

Mariela was very open–minded. After all, she was marrying Lennon, not Bella. It didn’t matter whether Bella liked her or not.
