Deandre hosted a grand banquet for Mariela.

The banquet was held in Deandre’s newly purchased European–style mansion at seven o’clock in the evening. Mariela woke up at eight o’clock in the morning to do her hair styling. 

At the Stark family’s banquet, Bella said that a lady should wear a conservative gown. Mariela planned to get a gown from the most upscale gown store in New York. Thinking about the fact that the banquet hall was in a medieval European Rococo style, she dismissed the idea. 

The dress for this banquet was a light blue European Rococo–style one–shoulder gown, designed after the blue Rococo dress worn by Queen Mary in the 1956 version of “Mariela Antoinette“. 

The dress employed an abundance of petticoats and crinolines, bestowing upon the skirt a voluminous and opulent silhouette. The inner bodice required a rigid corset to be worn, cinching the waist and accentuating the bust, thereby showcasing the perfect curves of the figure. The gown was crafted from luxurious silk fabric and was adorned with intricate embellishments. A profusion of lace and pearls exuded an air of grandeur and solemnity. 

To match her dress, the stylist put a platinum wig on Mariela and styled it in a European updo. The upper part of the wig was combed back and pinned up at the back of her head, while the lower part was curled into European curls and hung down on both sides. She also wore a hair accessory in the same color scheme as her dress. 

The stylist put on light blue contact lenses for Mariela, making her look like a blonde with blue eyes, perfectly matching the Rococo–style dress. 

With fair skin, Mariela didn’t need heavy makeup. She just lightly applied a layer of foundation and put on light–colored lipstick. She looked as beautiful as an angel descended from heaven. 

The manor was located in the western suburbs, approximately an hour’s drive from the apartment where Mariela currently lived. 

At 5 o’clock in the afternoon, Lennon came to the stylist’s shop to pick up Mariela. He was stunned by her stunning appearance. 

Mariela turned and smiled at him.“Lennon.” 

Lennon was also dressed in a European–style suit today, with slightly curled hair styled in a European fashion, which made him look even more elegant. 

Mariela sat in front of the dressing table and looked at herself in the mirror. Lennon walked over, bowed to her, and extended his hand toward her.“My princess.” 

Mariela gently placed her hand on his. 

Lennon devoutly kissed Mariela’s hand.“My princess, please allow me to take you away.” 

Mariela replied with a smile, “Of course.” 

An hour later, they arrived at the western suburban estate. 

The car drove along the wide asphalt road, flanked by towering plane trees on both sides. Winter had stripped the branches bare, their skeletal forms clawing at the leaden sky, fracturing the overcast expanse into a jagged mosaic of shadows.
