“No, I came alone.” Mariela’s eyes flickered with disappointment. 

She thought, “Yeah, he’s too busy enjoying his time with that beautiful woman in his arms.” 

Mariela took a few sips. 

“Darryl, what’s wrong with you? Can’t you talk like a decent person? Why did you hit someone?” Fiona angrily exclaimed.

Darryl laughed in frustration. “How else am I supposed to react? You were over there all cozy with some other guy, Fiona. Is this what your mom usually teaches you?” 

“Who do you think you are, my brother? Trying to control me?” Fiona yelled, trying to pull away from Darryl. 

Darryl held on tightly, not letting go.“You come with me!” 

In no time, the bar manager rushed over. 

The manager, upon hearing about the fight, brought a few bodyguards with him and looked ready to throw someone out. But when he saw that it was Darryl, his face immediately shifted to a grin. He hurried over, saying, “Mr. Tanner, what happened?” 

Darryl’s face darkened with a hint of cruelty in his eyes. He tugged at his lips and said, “Do you also provide softcore adult services in this place?” 

The manager panicked.“No, that’s not true! You must have misunderstood. We are a legitimate bar.” 

“Then how do you explain them?” Darryl pointed at those male models. 

The manager’s forehead was covered in cold sweat as he cautiously replied, “They are wine servers, just here to keep customers company while they drink. There are no inappropriate activities involved.” 

Darryl said aggressively, “Oh? Really? Then why was it that just now my sister got drunk and fell into his arms, and he didn’t even try to move away? I could tell from his face that he was enjoying it.”

Fiona didn’t want to make a big deal out of it and helped the manager by saying, “I just had a little too much to drink and almost fell. This young man helped me out. Darryl, don’t be unreasonable!” 

Darryl was furious, his face filled with disbelief.“Am I being unreasonable?” 

Fiona rubbed her temples.“Alright, I will go back with you. Just stop causing trouble like a spoiled brat.” 

Darryl was so mad that his face turned red.“Alright, alright! I was being unreasonable. I acted like a spoiled brat. I caused trouble everywhere. Fiona, good for you!” 

After saying that, Darryl angrily let go of Fiona’s hand and stormed out. 

Fiona smiled apologetically at the manager and said, “Sorry, my brother can be unreasonable at times. I’ll pay the bill first.”
