Sitting in the corner, Lennon pressed his thin lips, his deep eyes as dark as an endless abyss. 

Mariela’s voice trembled with a heart–wrenching sadness.“Lennon, you coward, how come you don’t dare to see me since you came here?” In an unnoticed corner, someone raised his phone to record this scene. 

Seeing Mariela like this, Caylee felt very sorry for her. 

“Marie, you were drunk. I will take you back to rest. Be good, alright?” Caylee supported Mariela, pushing through the crowd to make their way 

out. 

Two bodyguards from the Garner family followed closely behind. 

When Makhi got the video, Nikolas was flirting with a new beauty he had just hooked up with. 

The atmosphere in the private room was ambiguous, with a hint of decadence mixed with the smell of alcohol and smoke. 

Nikolas kissed the woman with his arms around her waist, and her breathing quickened. 

Makhi stood quietly in the corner, making himself as invisible as possible, like a silent and deaf bystander.

The woman lay on the sofa, gasping for breath in disheveled clothes. 

Nikolas, however, was still dressed neatly. 

He lazily leaned back on the sofa, took out a cigarette from the pack, and lit it. The white smoke spiraled up, obscuring his sharp, handsome facial features and giving him a wild and untamed look. 

Noticing that Nikolas had finished, Makhi stepped forward to report. 

The woman picked up the clothes from the ground and left the private room. 

“Nikolas, the shipment from Rimini has arrived safely.” 

Nikolas casually hummed and asked, “How is it going in Zentara?” 

“There was a problem with Adolfo’s side. When he met Byron Pugh, they ran into the police, and the deal got interrupted and the goods were checked. Luckily, the guys weren’t arrested.” 

There was a hint of anger in Nikolas‘ eyes.“Idiots! They lost the goods and still have the nerve to come back?” 

Makhi remained silent. 

“What about the Aetheris Group project in Italy?” 

Makhi’s throat tightened, and he nervously replied, “After the project was terminated, both our side and Aetheris Group took a big hit. The Stark Group swooped in and bought Aetheris Group. They’re finishing up the paperwork now.”
