Mariela left without any hesitation. 

“Stand there!” Bella scolded angrily, “Since when is it your turn to act wild at the Stark’s house? You hit someone and now you want to leave. What do you think this place is?” 

“Grandma!” Lennon lost patience. 

He shouted with a loud sound, full of momentum. 

Bella suddenly fell silent. 

Lauryn’s tears welled up as she reached out to tug at Lennon’s sleeve, “I…” 

Lennon pushed Lauryn aside and turned around, making his way upstairs while making a phone call. 

Lauryn was forcefully pushed and almost fell. She looked at Mariela’s back with even more hatred. 

After they left, Bella kept on chattering incessantly, 

Rayne glanced at Lauryn with indifference, said nothing, and turned to go upstairs. 

Royce was also impatient to listen to Bella’s words. 

He frowned and said, “Mom, you’re a bit confused. The Logan family has been involved in trouble because of us. Why do you still dislike Marie?” 

Bella was furious. 

“What do you mean I dislike her? She just slapped Lauryn right in front of us. Without any evidence, she just slapped her. What’s wrong with you as a father? Your daughter got slapped, and you don’t even stand up for her. You even accuse me?” 

Royce sighed and said, “It was indeed wrong for her to hit Lauryn for no reason, but you also spoke too harshly. Anyway, it’s already gotten to this point. Saying these things now won’t make any difference.” 

Royce said and then left. 

Lauryn sat down next to Bella, crying, and said with a grievance, “Grandma, it’s all my fault. I’ve always known that Marie doesn’t like me. It doesn’t matter that I got slapped, but this slap made you so angry. I’m worried that it might affect your health. Please calm down.” 

Bella looked at Lauryn and gently touched Lauryn’s face.“Good girl, does it still hurt?” 

Lauryn shook her head with teary eyes and said, “It didn’t hurt, Grandma.” 

Bella looked at Lauryn’s swollen and red face and felt extremely sorry for her. She quickly instructed the servant to prepare ice for Lauryn to apply on her face. 

Lennon called Matthew and asked him to check on the recent whereabouts of Lauryn and Jaime. 

After Mariela and Deandre left the Stark’s villa, they went to the hospital to see Haleigh.
