On the way to the hospital, Mariela called Fiona and Caylee back, telling them not to worry. 

After arriving at the hotel, she caught up with Hailie for a while. Then it was time for dinner.

“What do you feel like eating?” 

Hailie smiled, “I’m fine with anything.”

After dinner, Mariela said, “Then you should go through the normal process of submitting your resume and interviewing at the law firm.”

“Have you found a place to stay yet?” This was asking if Hailie had found a rental. 

Hailie replied, “Not yet.” 

Mariela nodded, “I’ll have someone help you look later.” 

Hailie quickly waved her hand, “Mariela, you don’t have to, I can look myself.” 

“Don’t be polite with me, you’re new to New York, I’m afraid you’ll get scammed.” 

“Well…” Hailie hesitated, “Then thank you.” 

“No worries.” Mariela checked the time, “I’ll take you back to the hotel first, I have something to do later.”
