Juliette glared at Mariela, “You’re here for Jaime? Mariela, you’ve been broken up for so long. Why are you still bothering him? Are you that desperate for a man?” 

Mariela sneered, “You think everyone is like you, picking up trash and treating it like treasure?” 

Jaime approached, and these words didn’t escape his ears.

Jaime replied, “Yes, knowing you were kidnapped, I was very worried about you, afraid something would happen to you.” 

Mariela’s face was angry, and she coldly questioned, “How did you know I was kidnapped by Nikolas? Did Lauryn tell you?”
