Mariela turned around. 

Mariela looked at him coldly, “I’m perfectly fine, no need for your concern.” 

Lennon paused, then said, “I’ve already 

contacted the platform. Juliette’s account has been permanently banned.” 

“Well, thank you for that.”

Lennon didn’t know how to keep the conversation going. 

“If there’s nothing else, you can leave. I’m busy and don’t have time to waste here with you. Goodbye.” Mariela tossed out these words and turned to leave. 

“Marie, listen to me…” Lennon quickly stood up and followed her. 

As she walked out of the reception room, the receptionist approached Mariela again, “Ms. Logan, someone else is here to see you.” 

“Who is it?” Mariela asked. 

“Are you Ms. Logan?” A man with glasses looked at Mariela and asked. 

Mariela nodded, “Yes, that’s me. What can I do for you?” 

“Marie, be careful!” Lennon’s voice rang out behind her. 

In the blink of an eye, Lennon pulled Mariela into his arms. 

The man with glasses splashed a colorless, transparent liquid toward Mariela’s face. 

Since Lennon had pulled Mariela into his arms, the liquid splashed onto the potted plant behind her. 

The plant was quickly corroded. 

It was sulfuric acid. 

Mariela’s face turned pale. If Lennon hadn’t pulled her away, the sulfuric acid would have splashed onto her face, and by now, her entire face would have been corroded. 

The man with glasses glared at her furiously, as if she were his mortal enemy, his eyes filled with hatred, wishing he could tear her to pieces.
