Jaime angrily shouted, “You wanted me to get rid of Mariela with my own hands? You knew very well that Nikolas said that he’d kill her if I called the police, and yet you still wanted me to report it immediately!” 

Lauryn coldly sneered, “So what? I wished Mariela would die!” 

“Lauryn!” Jaime shouted angrily, veins popping on his forehead. “You just said you wanted to break up Mariela and Lennon and never mentioned that you wanted to kill her!” 

“It was in the past.” Lauryn’s eyes were filled with scorn as she curled her lips and said, “Now, I just want her to die. Only when she’s dead will Lennon’s eyes be on me.” 

“You mad woman!” Jaime exclaimed, his chest heaving with anger. He wanted to rush forward and hit Lauryn. But he was stopped by her bodyguard. 

“Jaime, look how useless and pathetic you are. No wonder Mariela doesn’t want you,” Lauryn said with a disgusted expression. “Even after Mariela broke up with you, she never even looked at you. You are of no use to me anymore. Our collaboration ends here.” 

Jaime said angrily,“Aren’t you afraid that I will tell Lennon everything you’ve done?” 

“Hahaha…” Lauryn burst into laughter as if she had heard a funny joke. 

“Did I hear it wrong?” Lauryn chuckled at Jaime, “Are you threatening me?” 

“Don’t forget who stands behind me,” Lauryn said arrogantly, “to Nikolas, I am more useful than you. Imagine, if you were to expose what I have done, the Stark family would kick me out, and I would lose my usefulness. Do you think Nikolas would spare you?” When it came to Nikolas, Jaime’s eyes flickered with fear. 

He was a lunatic who chased Lennon with a rifle in broad daylight! 

Lennon survived under Nikolas‘ attacks, but he couldn’t.
