Mariela sat down on the single sofa next to Lennon, and the assistant made coffee for them. Then the assistant left quietly and closed the door.

Lennon took out two file bags and said, “These are the cases that need to be handled currently

Mariela took the file bags and said, “As the CEO of such a large company like the Stark Group, you must be busy. Do you even take care of such trivial matters like lawsuits? 

She was being sarcastic. 

Lennon, however, didn’t mind. He smiled and said kindly, “Working with Ms. Logan is no trivial matter.” 

Mariela ignored it. She opened the file bags and flipped through the files expressionlewly. 

For large companies like the Stark Group, each contract was usually worth dozens of millions of dollars. And the printed evidence for each case could range from a few thousand pages to several large boxes. Lennon couldn’t possibly carry all that evidence with him. 

The file bags contained some case materials, listing the cases that Stark Group was going to entrust to the law firm, along with the evidence materials. 

Mariela glanced through them briefly.

The files briefly stated the types of the cases, the litigation requests, and the main evidence. It was all clear and concise. Obviously, it had already been organized.
