Mariela’s eyes widened in surprise. She had assumed the top–notch restorer Lennon mentioned would be an elderly person, but instead, she was greeted by a breathtakingly beautiful woman. 

Mariela stood up and gave her hand a friendly shake, her face lighting up with enthusiasm.“Ms. McAfee, I’m Mariela. Thank you for agreeing to restore my porcelain doll.”
