A wave of pure happiness washed over me to see my little angels and brother standing in the decorated living hall. The banner with bold words ‘congratulations, Laura and Bright' touched my soul.

I was thinking about a family get-together and my darling family members had already prepared for it. I couldn't stop smiling as experiencing pure bliss with no limits filled my heart with joy.

Henry spoke gleefully.

"Your victory called for a grand party, Bright. But you are too busy to even share a meal with us.

So, here is what we came up with on a short notice."

My kids' affection for Bright wasn't hidden from anyone, they had welcomed him as a father figure in their lives ages ago. So, I wasn't stunned to see the heart-warming scene of their cute gestures.

But what shocked me was my brother's complete metamorphosis. He was gazing at Bright tenderly as his smile reached his eyes, mirroring his inner glee.

He was genuinely happy for me and Bright as he said.

"You really made me proud, Bright. I am so glad that you and Laura will spend your lives together."

"Through your hard work and consistent efforts, you have made me believe that you are the best life partner for Laura. My baby sister has selected a precious diamond this time. So, undoubtedly, you both will have a happy married life.

Henry stroked my hair gently, spoiling me with love like our childhood. Bright was still in disbelief after listening to my knight in shining armor's speech.

"Are you sure that I am a good person? That means no threats, no cuss words, no fights? And we will all live together as a big happy family?"

Henry chuckled. "Yes, Bright. From now on, no fights."

"Thank God!"

Bright hugged Henry in a split second, sighing in relief.

"I always wanted a big brother, and seeing you protecting Laura at every step made me feel envious.
