Horace left the elevator with Laura in his arms without even glancing at Clara, which greatly upset Clara.

"Do you know which hospital Horace and Laura went to? Can you drive me there?" Clara asked anxiously.

"I'm also going over there now, so just get in." After Clara got into the car, Isaac raced all the way to the hospital.

Entering the hospital and asking a nurse, Clara was told that Laura was in the operating room for surgery. According to the nurse, Clara quickly found where the operating room was.

Horace was sitting on a chair outside the operating room. Seeing Clara running over, Horace got up and helped her.

After Clara could breathe well, Horace looked at her and asked with a frown, "What are you running so fast for? Why do you look so bad?"

"I..." Clara did not know how to explain her anxiety. She didn't even know why she rushed here so urgently.

"How is Laura doing?" Clara changed the topic.

Helping Clara sit on the chair, Horace sat beside her. "After surviving the fire, Laura keeps having heart and respiratory problems. We were trapped in the elevator for a long time. She had difficulty breathing due to oxygen deprivation and finally fainted."

"Then is she in any danger?" Clara asked nervously. Laura loved Horace, and Clara was not very fond of what Laura did. Nevertheless, Laura hoped nothing would go wrong with Laura.

"She said she was used to that, so it shouldn't be life-threatening." Horace was not sure.

Both Horace and Clara stopped talking and quietly waited for the end of the operation.

"By the way, did you tell Logan about this?" It struck Clara that Logan was now Laura's only family member and that they should quickly ask him to be here.

"Yes," Horace nodded. "I have asked Isaac to do that, so Logan should be on the way..."

Before Horace could finish his words, he saw Logan hurrying here.

"Here he comes," Horace turned his head to Clara and spoke.

"How is Laura now?" As soon as Logan arrived, he asked.

"She's still in the operating room." Horace gave Logan a reassuring look. "Don't worry. She'll be fine."
