"Why?" Clara cried hysterically, "Why you and Horace don't want the baby. It's his baby!"

Hearing Clara's words, Russell remembered what Horace had told him. It seemed true that Clara had been so traumatized that she had chosen to forget that she had been sexually assaulted.
