Then he carried Clara's luggage towards the elevator.

Clara followed and said, "I can do it myself. Thank you very much."

"With my pleasure. By the way, a gentleman gave me tips to help you," the waiter answered smilingly. That gentleman was so generous that the waiter believed that that day was his lucky day.
