"Clara is not to blame for this; this is Laura's fault. How could this have happened if she hadn't intended to harm people in the first place? She set Clara up over and over again. Do you want Clara to suffer like this?"

Helena was utterly shocked by Laura's head injury and was so scared and worried that she couldn't listen to Horace's words and subconsciously retorted, " Isn't Clara fine as she is, and which time did Laura hurt her?"
