Flora's arrival was seen as a disruption by most. Yet, given the warm reception from the Director of the National Medical Department, no one dared to voice any objections.

"Let me give it a go," Flora chimed in.

The Computer Institute team was in a tizzy, struggling to track down Kruiz's whereabouts. When Flora offered to help, they gave her a skeptical look. "You know hacking?"

Flora nodded, "A little."

A little?

Was she treating this like a college homework assignment?

One of the team members, visibly irritated, remarked, "Mr. Richard, please keep an eye on your guest. We can’t handle more chaos."

"Why be so harsh with a young lady?" The guy next to him, who everyone called Holden, chimed in with a warm smile. Known in the Computer Association for his friendly demeanor, he added, "Sweetheart, this isn't a game. Just stand aside and let us handle it, alright?"

At least someone was treating her kindly.

With that, he went back to hammering away at his keyboard.

"Flora’s really good with computers," Mr. Richard persisted, refusing to back down. "Let her have a crack at it."

"Mr. Richard, what's going on with you today? Can you please not make things harder for us?" The same guy turned back, looking annoyed.

Mr. Richard was at his wit's end. It seemed Flora's youth made people doubt her abilities.

Feeling for Flora, Mr. Tanner and Mr. Richard knew it wasn’t the time to argue with the National Computer Association folks. They tried to comfort her instead.

Flora frowned but kept her cool. She knew saving lives was the priority.

Spotting an unoccupied computer, she made her way over.

Mr. Tanner and Mr. Richard quickly followed her.

The screen was filled with lines of code, making Flora's brow furrow. She reached for the mouse.

"Flora—" Mr. Tanner quickly intervened, worried she might inadvertently mess up the code.

Downstairs, Jules stepped out of his car, finding Holden anxiously waiting by the entrance.

Having just returned from an international competition, he dashed back as soon as he got wind of the situation, which explained his delayed arrival.

"What's the status?" he asked, as he and Holden headed upstairs.

"Not great. There's a powerful hacker on their end. Six and I couldn't even breach the outer defenses."

Jules's expression grew serious at this news.

Holden and Six were some of the best hackers in the Computer Association. If they were struggling, the threat was formidable. Kruiz’s disappearance was a serious matter; even the special forces were involved, with Mr. Colin leading several teams, all poised to act as soon as they pinpointed Kruiz's location.

As they climbed the stairs, Jules quickly pulled out his phone to make a call.

Seeing this, Holden's eyes widened, "Jules, are you calling the boss?"

He sounded a bit excited.
