He was just so anxious and frustrated because he couldn't find Kruiz's exact location that his words came out harsher than he intended. It wasn't on purpose!

"And what’s all this you've been writing? After two years at the National Computer Association, you’ve shown no improvement. Once you're back, it's a month of intensive training for you, no going anywhere else. If your skills don't get better, you'll keep at it."

"Don't worry, Jules! I'll train hard!"

Xiao Liu clenched his fists, determined to improve. Flora's blatant disdain for his work today really hit him hard!

Flora and Connor returned to Fhallow Bay together. As soon as they walked in, Flora got a video call from Kruiz.

He was still at the hospital, just wrapping up his check-up. Nothing major, just needed a bit of rest. The kidnappers had snatched him but dared not harm him. Being a giant in the medical field, any harm to him would cause global chaos.

"Flora, I really owe you one this time." Kruiz looked a bit pale. "If it weren’t for you, I might not have made it back today."

Flora had cracked his location and led the team to find him. Her team rescued him from the kidnappers. Kruiz had no idea how he could repay her.

Flora lounged lazily on the couch, "Just stop sending me those medical puzzles every day." The old man bombarded her with various medical challenges to solve daily. She was tempted to block him.

Kruiz chuckled, "You're quite a character."

"I’ll probably head back to Lone Island in a day or two. We’ll meet again when medical base training starts." Kruiz said, adding with concern, "You’re going to the medical base, right?"

Flora was known for doing things her own way, so there was a chance she might skip it.

"I’ll go."

She had promised Mr. Tanner she would. Plus, the medical base seemed to hold a lot of secrets.

Hearing this, Kruiz finally smiled, "Alright, then I and your fellow trainees will be waiting for you at the medical base."

Flora: Did he get on your nerves?

Kaylee: Not exactly... I just feel like I’m not good enough.

Designing clothes for Rafael was her dream come true, something she never thought would actually happen. Thinking about it still felt surreal. Yet, it seemed Rafael didn’t appreciate her designs. Or maybe, he didn’t appreciate her. She was just too soft-spoken.

Flora frowned. For Kaylee to say something like that, Rafael must have upset her. She was curious about what Rafael had done to make Kaylee want to quit.

She typed quickly: If I thought you couldn’t do it, I wouldn’t have asked you. Your skills are definitely up to par. But if you don’t want to, that’s fine. I’ll find someone else. I’ll talk to Howell about it.

Flora had seen the outfits Kaylee designed for Rafael. They had room for improvement, but with Howell’s tweaks, they were stage-ready. Over the past year, with guidance from Howell and top designers at Rose’s Studio, and given Kaylee’s natural talent, she had made remarkable progress. Compared to a year ago, she was on a whole new level. As a college freshman, she was already surpassing many renowned designers.

On the other end, Kaylee sighed with relief. Rafael had been her idol for years, and of course, she wanted to be close to him. But he seemed to have a strong dislike for her. Technically, she should have told Rafael directly about her decision. But, considering how he had yelled at her just a couple of hours ago, she decided to just send a message to his assistant instead.
