"Your sister's been with the Woods for ages and still no son. The Bryant-Woods connection is hanging by a thread. Jasmine, are you planning to swoop in and take advantage? Don’t do anything silly, okay?"

"Can you just zip it already?" Jasmine finally snapped. She was at her wit's end with Shelly’s endless prattle.

"Did I strike a nerve?" Shelly teased, refusing to let up.

Jasmine grabbed the bandage from Shelly, holding one end between her teeth as she tied a knot over her cut. Once done, she wasted no time in shoving Shelly out.

But Shelly wasn’t one to give up easily. She wedged her foot in the door, grinning cheekily. "So, what’s up with you and Tyler? Got a thing for him? If not, I sure do. If you’re not keen, let me take a shot."

Jasmine slammed the door shut with a bang, cutting Shelly’s words off mid-banter.

She had plans to dig into the Woods and Stonnell family matters with Tyler. Last night’s stealth mission to the Woods’ estate revealed they were scheming against Jackson, plus they’d tracked down Fiona’s parents. It seemed like they were gearing up to target Fiona too.
