Henrik and Flora were deep in conversation, chatting about the booming success of their live-streaming sales. The results were phenomenal; now, big-name brands were lining up to partner with Florik Entertainment, offering six-figure sums just to get a spot in their streams.

Florik Entertainment had suddenly become the talk of the industry, and those who once turned up their noses were now scrambling to adopt their live-streaming sales model.

As usual, Flora listened quietly, knowing Henrik had a knack for business deals. The siblings shared an easy rapport, while Connor, wearing gloves, peeled shrimp for Flora without saying a word.

Cecelia occasionally snuck a piece of steak when Henrik wasn’t looking, but she limited herself to three pieces, mindful of her figure if she wanted to pursue a career in entertainment.

After the meal, Henrik headed to pay the bill, only for the waiter to inform him with a smile that it had already been taken care of. Connor chuckled, “Big brother doesn’t pay when we’re dining together.”

His frequent and affectionate use of “big brother” was a bit too much for Henrik, who wasn’t quite used to it.

Connor dropped Flora off at her lab and was about to leave when a black sedan scraped by his car. He caught a glimpse of the passenger, and his usually relaxed eyes narrowed slightly. What was he doing at the lab?

“Everyone, can I have your attention for a moment?” Dr. Ray announced, his excitement palpable. “Our investor is visiting today. Let’s be on our best behavior and give them a warm welcome!”

Dr. Ray had been too excited to sleep for days and was especially thrilled since the benefactor had mentioned visiting today. First impressions were everything, and he wanted to showcase the lab's potential.

About five minutes later, Dr. Ray returned with a man in a suit. He looked to be in his forties, bald, not particularly tall or broad, with a gaunt face and dark circles under his eyes, clearly a man who had indulged too much.
