Chapter 655 marks a crucial moment in Carly Gale’s Novel novel, Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life. This chapter blends tension, emotion, and plot progression to deliver a memorable reading experience — one that keeps readers eagerly turning the page.

The competition had reached a point where there was no need to continue. The University of Maple Grove had clinched a decisive victory, leaving the once proud medical organization disheveled and deflated, like they’d lost their spark.

After the competition, Darcy grabbed Flora's arm. "Let's go out to celebrate!"

Flora shook her head with a soft smile. "I can't join you guys tonight. My family’s waiting for me."

"Alright, we’ll plan a victory party for you another time." Darcy didn't push further, knowing family comes first.

Flora nodded, said goodbye to Dr. Ray, and headed to the stands, linking arms with Raul on her left and Henrik on her right. Connor followed behind, carrying their bags.

Dr. Ray, Mr. Richard, and Jules stood together, watching Flora walk away, their hearts swelling with pride.

The University of Maple Grove had Flora. They were set for greatness.

With Flora, Austenberg’s medical standards would lead the world.

...

Flora and her family went to a local Chinese restaurant for dinner. After their meal, Connor drove them back to the Irving family home.

Flora actually wanted to go to Shallow Bay, but Raul and Henrik’s pleading looks held her back. She had been spending almost all her free time with Connor lately, and she knew she had been neglecting her family.

Besides, tonight, Raul had lost control, perhaps out of joy, and drunk quite a bit. Flora was worried.

"Connor, you should head home. I'll see you tomorrow," Flora said, as she and Henrik helped Raul into the house.

"I'll make some hangover soup for Dad. You should have some too," Flora told Henrik, who had also had a few drinks.

"When have you ever stepped into the kitchen?" Henrik teased, ruffling Flora’s hair. "You had a long day at the competition. Go shower and rest. I’ll take care of Dad."

"Flora, the experimental paper that needs editing is on your desk. Have a look when you can," Shawn said, placing a paper on her desk, his tone unchanged.

Flora, sipping milk through a straw, nodded and got to work. Her casual demeanor still exuded an air of quiet confidence.

Their previously tense hearts inexplicably relaxed. No matter how formidable Flora was, she was still their Flora! What were they anxious for?

Flora never cared about titles or prestige; otherwise, she wouldn’t have worked with them for so long!

"Flora, the medical organization folks have left! They fled overnight and should be back by now," Darcy said, draping an arm over Flora's shoulder and placing a sandwich on her desk, thoughtfully unwrapping it for her.

Flora picked up the sandwich and started eating. "Oh," she responded nonchalantly.

"If I were them, I’d be too embarrassed to stick around either. Flora, do you know you’re a celebrity now? The internet is buzzing with videos of your competition."
