"Aunt Jane, Flora is amazing! When she's on the case, there's no surgery that doesn't succeed!" Darcy declared confidently, though deep down, she was a bit nervous. She trusted Flora, but the fear of something going wrong lingered.

"Boss," Moss and Beck called out respectfully to Connor from the end of the hallway. "Our sources report that Club 257 is on a global hunt for the HJ Special Dose."

Connor frowned at the news. If Club 257 was searching for the HJ Special Dose, it was almost certainly Flora's doing, especially at this crucial time. He quickly deduced that Flora was looking for the miracle drug for Shawn. Word was, Shawn's arm was so badly injured that he might never hold a scalpel again. Austenberg would lose an excellent surgeon.

After a moment of silence, Connor spoke, "Get in touch with the Falcone family and ask them for a dose of the miracle drug."

Shawn had been hurt protecting Flora; just for that, Connor felt he had to help.

"Got it," Moss and Beck replied in unison. They had anticipated that Connor would step in once he found out Club 257 was searching for the HJ Special Dose, even if it meant using connections he'd rather avoid. After all, the boss had clearly fallen for Ms. Flora.

As they talked, the doors to the operating room finally opened, and Connor quickly moved to the entrance. Flora and Dr. Ray, along with others, slowly emerged. Before they came out, Alyssa was so anxious she nearly rushed in, but now that they were out, she was suddenly too scared to ask. She couldn’t bear the thought of bad news.

Dr. Ray also felt a swell of pride. Flora was destined to reach the top of her field, someone everyone would look up to. Yet, for now, she still had to call him teacher. That felt pretty great!

Listening to the doctor, Alyssa had mixed emotions. She admired Flora's achievements at such a young age. But… Shawn had ended up like this because of her. Though he had survived, his career as a surgeon was over. He might only become an honorary professor, giving lectures. Alyssa wasn’t a saint; deep down, she harbored some resentment. But then again, it was her son who had unrequited feelings for the girl. The young lady hadn't done anything wrong. It was all her son's one-sided affection.

Alyssa sighed and ultimately looked at Flora with gratitude, speaking gently, "Ms. Flora, thank you."
