"Team Austenberg, Selene from the medical organization, Orla from Team M of the Youth category... please welcome these thirty contestants to the stage!"

As the host's voice faded, Selene stood up from her seat.

Selene nodded and confidently strode towards the stage.

The scores for the first round were quickly tallied. Selene scored 96 points, securing first place by a clear seven points ahead of the second place.

In the second round, Joy stepped up.

"Give it your best," Mr. Tanner encouraged her, patting her shoulder. Joy had scored second place overall in the first round, and he figured she wouldn't be far off in this round either. He guessed that as long as the questions weren't too difficult, she might clinch another first place.
