She shot a quick text to Crimson: "Hey Miss Crimson, can you dig up some info on Cecelia for me?"
Crimson replied almost instantly: "On it."
Just as Flora was about to stash her phone, another message buzzed in. It was from Jules.
Jules: "Hey hey, Flora, my darling!"
Flora: "..."
Jules: "So, um~ [smirk] [sly grin] [blush]"
Flora: "..."
**[Flora, the mega-tycoon, just wired you ten billion and blocked you]**

Over at the University of Maple Grove, Blake kept glancing at her phone, looking increasingly tense. She'd already leaked the scoop to the press, so why wasn't there any buzz yet? By now, the scandal involving Flora and the university should've gone viral.
Unable to sit still, she fired off another message. The response she got advised patience, saying these things needed time to simmer before they blew up, assuring her it would definitely hit the news today.
"Professor Linden, what's on your mind?" asked a student across the table, curiosity written all over his face. He'd just come with a question, and this was the third time Blake had drifted off.
"Oh, nothing," Blake replied, shaking her head slightly. After finishing her explanation, she casually threw in, "Have you caught wind of Flora becoming an honorary professor here?"
"Wait, Professor Linden, are you upset? Is it because of Flora?" The student finally picked up on her mood, and remembering her constant mentions of Flora, he quickly put two and two together. He tried to comfort her, "Professor Linden, I get it, Flora's a hard act to follow. She's younger and already an honorary professor, while you're still an associate. It's got to sting a bit, but you'll adjust!"
"Look at me; I've gotten so used to being in Flora's shadow—oops, Professor Flora's shadow—that it's just part of life now."
That was the last straw for Blake, her anger boiling over. She decided then and there, if he didn't nail at least a ninety on the finals, he was toast!
She just couldn't wrap her head around why everyone was so gaga over Flora.
Just then, her phone buzzed with a new message.
Blake quickly snatched it up.
The message read: **[OK, it’s out there.]**
