Serena's eyes lit up instantly. She tried to call out, but her mouth was tightly covered by a thug.

The other thug pulled out a small knife from his pocket, pointing it toward the shadowy figure in the corner with a sinister smirk.

Bernard Blake remained silent.

The two thugs smirked. Thinking that Bernard had decided to back off, they turned to leave. But the next moment, the knife was kicked out of the thug's hand.
