Debra was busy packing her luggage for her trip back to Seamar City when the sudden ring of her phone broke the silence.

Glancing at the screen, she saw an unfamiliar number flash across it. Without hesitation, she declined the call. However, her phone rang again.

She frowned and answered the call. Liza's voice then came through, her tone as imperious as ever.

"Debra, I need to see you right now. Meet me at the Legacy Hotel."

"Miss Eaton, what's this all about now? I'm not in the mood for your games tonight. I have an early morning flight back to Seamar City."

"I don't care," Liza insisted, her voice unusually urgent. "I have to see you tonight. I want to apologize to you for what happened, and there is another important matter. It involves Marion, and you should come quickly."

Then the line went dead. Debra stared at her phone and pondered.

Marion, who had just finished tidying up the bedroom, walked in.

"Who was that?"

"Liza."

"What does she want now?"

"She said she needed to talk to me about something important. She's asked me to meet her at the Legacy Hotel."

She put down her phone and resumed packing.

"So, are you going?"

"I think so."

"Then I'm coming with you."

The car began to veer toward the outskirts of the city, but Debra showed no signs of distress.

Her relaxed looks made the two men dismiss the thought of knocking her unconscious.

Finally, breaking the silence, she asked, "Are we almost there? I'm on a tight schedule."

"Almost," one of the bodyguards replied.

The car soon came to a stop outside an abandoned factory. The two men stepped out and opened the door for Debra.

She got out, took in her surroundings, and laughed. Previously, she couldn't understand why Drake and Kale faced the danger with such ease when their car was tampered with.

Now she understood. Some things, when experienced frequently, become familiar. Being kidnapped had become a common occurrence for her without her even realizing it.

"So, where is Edgar?" she asked.
