Panic-stricken, Cathryn clung to her last shred of hope. "If Drake won't help me, Marion will. He promised my dad he'd take care of me. He'll save me."

The call hadn't been disconnected yet. Kale frowned when he heard that Debra was also kidnapped.

"Should we leave now?"

"Tomorrow morning."

Drake settled onto the sofa, swearing to snatch Marion's power one day.
