“Why didn’t you tell me that your sister is ill? I know a doctor at Arcadia University Hospital. If you had told me in advance, I could have arranged for them to see you. And a public hospital is much cheaper than a private pack hospital. Why spend so much money to take her here?” 

The latter half of Harper’s words were intentional. The 

implication was that they didn’t want to go to the public hospital but secretly came to the private one. They had a guilty conscience. 

Damian panicked for a moment, but he quickly covered it up. “My sister didn’t pay for her pack medical insurance. It’s the 

same for her to go to a public or private hospital.” 

Harper smiled faintly. “Yes, but this is the specialized pack hospital in Arcadia that deals with rare issues and high–ranking pack members.”
