Houston replied, "Rose is a good girl. She never goes to places like bars. That night, someone called her claiming to be a patient—only then did she agree to go out for a house call. If it had been Ethan who called her directly, Rose would never have answered."

Maxwell glanced at the photo from the trending news article. There was indeed a medical kit placed next to Rose in the picture. It was a small detail, but enough to prove that Houston isn’t lying.

Hearing that, Maxwell's expression wavered slightly. Clearly, he started to believe her as well.
