Greyson said, “Probably nothing. I cannot remember why I am staying in the hospital… No problem for anything else.”
Finnley asked, “You had a car accident. Do you remember how you got the accident?”
Greyson shook his head.
Finnley tried to ask more, “Who is your girlfriend?”
“Of course, Rowan Porter. I remember daddy always stands with us. And we are going to be engaged…” Greyson did not understand why his father asked him the question, still answered seriously.
He remembered he loved Rowan so deeply that there was not possibility to forget her.
They fell in love with each other in university. How could he forget the loads of happiness they had together?
Rowan was the only one he would like to be with for his whole life.
However, he felt some of weird about the memory.
Greyson had a frown; he even failed to get a clear image of Rowan in his mind…
All of sudden, he started to be in panic.
Had he lost some memory?
Finnley was surprised by what Greyson said and soon got excited.
It was so accidental that Hattie had gone out of Greyson’ memory!
The doctor looked at Finnley to say something, but Finnley asked him first, “Anything wrong with my son?”
The doctor answered, “No. Only losing some memory…”
Finnley stopped him talking more, “It’s ok if he feels well. Have you finished the check?”
The doctor nodded to say, “Finished. We are leaving now. Feel free to have a talk with Greyson.”
Finnley agreed. The doctor and nurses left the room consecutively and closed the door for them.
Finnley had a seat on the chair beside the bed, “Greyson, you don’t lose memory. You are getting better and better. Just staying here for some days, you will be fine.”
Greyson said, “I see. Daddy. I would like to see Rowan…”
Finnley asked again, “You want to see Rowan Porter?”
He had to confirm Greyson really forgot Hattie Moss.
“Sure.” Greyson answered.
After a second, Rowan promised to go, “Ok. I am going now.”
She would like to see how much disorder Greyson had in his memory now.
She got here after half an hour.
Finnley kept waiting for Rowan at the entrance, much joyful to see her, “Miss Porter, how are you?”
“Good. Thank you. Mr. Finnley.” Rowan answered politely.
Finnley turned around to lead the way for her, “Follow me please.”
At the door outside the room, Finnley said to Rowan, “I know you are smart enough to cope with something surprising you.”
“Yes, I will.” Rowan nodded and opened the door to come in.
Greyson was sitting on the bed. He smiled as soon as seeing Rowan and said, “Rowan, you are here…”
Rowan tried not to be too surprised and answered gently, “Yes, I come to see you. You were hurt so badly! I was on a business trip and just come back today.”
Greyson said, “Thank you for coming to see me.” Now it could be seen from his eyes that he really cared about Rowan.
Rowan had to admitted that she still had chemistry with Greyson by the way he looked at her.
