CELINE’s POV

Christine’s husband owns this mall. The security guard who let us in knew us, therefore Astrid was able to sneak a gun. Like Lance, Astrid, and Christine are also members of the mafia organization, which is why they are skilled in using guns and skilled in fighting.

“The next time I shoot this gun I will hit that bitch,” Astrid threatened Lance without fear.

“Try it, Astrid, and I won’t hesitate to use all the bullets of my gun on you.” Lance also threatened Astrid. “Don’t forget who you’re dealing with.”

Astrid chuckled. “An asshole and a bitch. I still haven’t forgotten who I’m dealing with.” Astrid replied sarcastically.

Fear is not really in Astrid’s vocabulary. Does she not understand that Lance is threatening him as a mafia boss.

Before they exchanged gunfire, I approached Astrid.

“Astrid, let’s go.”

Astrid looked at me in her disbelief, then lowered her hand holding the gun. “Leave? Why would you be afraid of what these two are doing?” Astrid looked back at Lance. “After you use Celine, and Celine did nothing but love you, you’re just going to give her divorce papers and now you’re with that bitch?”

When I looked at Lance again, his eyes almost burned with anger.

“Come on,” I begged Astrid. “Please, I don’t want any trouble.”

Astrid let out a deep breath before she hid the gun in her leather jacket. Afterwards we left the restaurant straight to her car.

With the help of Christine and Astrid supporting me, I could walk until I got into the car, even though my knees were getting soft.

“Would you like to spend a night in the mansion first?” Christine offered me.

“You can also be at our house,” Astrid also offered me.

I shook my head as I declined their offer. “Thank you, but I want to go to our mansion. I will wait for my husband to talk to him.”

I heard them sigh.

“Fine, we’ll take you to your mansion,” Astrid jus said.
