Skylar made her way to the hall where the head of the Rutherford family, Warren Rutherford, was seated. He appeared to be in his 50s, and his stern rigid demeanor was strikingly similar to Skylar's.

When Skylar entered, Warren just looked up. "You've finally decided to come back?"

Skylar's expression remained unchanged as he gave Warren a slight nod as a form of greeting. Then, he went straight to the point. "I'm here to retrieve my amulet."

Skylar had an amulet that was given to him by Warren when he was 15. He hadn't brought it with him when he'd gone to Seastone, so he'd been using an ordinary amulet instead.
