After the sullen Tortoise System was sent away, Shannon and Benjamin finished their meal in peace.

They'd planned to continue their date at the amusement park Hector had gifted Shannon. But as they were leaving the restaurant, an attendant mentioned a newly released mystic arts movie.

The movie was reportedly filmed during the airing of Sixth Sense and was rushed into production because the creators anticipated a mystic arts trend. The script was supposedly written with guidance from a professional mystic master.

Shannon had been too busy to keep up with such news and immediately expressed interest. Benjamin naturally obliged.

An hour later, the two were seated in a VIP private room at the cinema. They watched ghosts and spirits flit across the enormous screen.

Outside the screen, wandering ghosts occasionally floated by and mimicked the ghostly antics from the movie. They hovered in front of the screen and attempted to scare the couple.

Shannon and Benjamin watched in stony silence as one ghost clumsily tried to reenact a head-removal scene from the movie but utterly failed.

After a long pause, Benjamin finally broke the silence. "Let's watch at home next time."

The Cooper residence's home theater boasted top-tier sound systems and a superior viewing experience. Most importantly, there would not be wandering ghosts casually popping in.

Shannon nodded in agreement. "Sounds great." If that wouldn't do, the Jensen residence's theater would suffice.

Though she could use a single talisman to drive the wandering ghosts away, she didn't feel like making the effort.

Plus, the so-called groundbreaking mystic arts movie was proving lackluster by the first half and left her somewhat disinterested.

Another reason she didn't feel like it was that the dim lighting of the cinema contrasted starkly with the golden light emanating from the man beside her. It didn't make for the best movie-watching environment.

Benjamin noticed her growing lack of interest and suggested, "Let's move on to the next place."

Shannon curiously asked, "Next place? The amusement park?"

Benjamin shook his head. "There's another place I think you'll enjoy more."

Shannon raised an eyebrow. Her eyes lit up slightly in surprise when they arrived at their destination. Benjamin had brought her to an auction house.
