Just when Shannon was about to speak, a pleasant male voice came from another entrance, "She's a guest of mine."

When the attendant saw him, his attitude became even more respectful. "Mr. Yarrow."

The man had soft facial features that made him look androgynously attractive. His fox-like eyes seemed to be filled with coyness all the time.

Dressed in an exquisite dark purple suit, his long hair was tied back casually. He emanated the mysterious air of a southern man.

When he looked at Shannon, he merely crooked a finger, asking her to come over.

His gesture was suggestive.

Shannon was already used to his behavior. She followed him into a room behind the auction.

The room was decorated in an antique style, which fitted his bearing.

A folding screen divided the room into two parts. Half of the space was for hosting guests, while the other half seemed to be an exhibit area. Various items were displayed there, soon to be auctioned off.

It was different from the auction houses that dealt in regular antiques and art.

Zidane Yarrow's wares were bizarre and varied. If there was an item that was desired by a customer and he had it, it could be traded here.

If he didn't have it, he could think of ways to acquire it, too.

Right after they entered the room, Shannon couldn't wait to ask, "Where's the item you told me about?"

Seeing how excited she was, Ziadne merely raised his brow. He then turned around to search the exhibit area. As he searched, he mumbled, "This… is not it.

"That's… not it either.

"This one… Nope.

"Ah… so the human bone is here…"

"This box… Oh, I've found it."

Zidane brought a long box over. His eyes were cunning as he watched her.

"I'm not sure if this is what you want. Have a look," he said while opening the box.

Inside the box, there was a withered branch.
