In the Jensen family, Scott was known to be brash.

If he found anything disagreeable, he would criticize anybody for it, let alone someone who wasn't even a Jensen.

Connor's face darkened. After all, he had just been scolded by a teenage kid out of nowhere. But he did his best to uphold his dignity as a member of the Gray family.

Frowning, he questioned, "Who are you? I'm talking to my sister. Don't you know that you shouldn't eavesdrop on other people's conversations?"

His patronizing tone got on Scott's nerves.

Scott couldn't stand being lectured by others. Apart from George and Adam, anybody who dared to criticize him would instantly get his hackles up.

"She's not your damn sister! She's a Jensen now! Her older brother is upstairs, and her younger brother is here. What kind of brother are you to her? Stop trying to claim anyone as your family!"

Upstairs, Hank was speechless.

Scott could call Shannon his sister all he wanted, why did he have to drag Hank into this?

Scott didn't care what Hank thought as he blasted at Connor.

"I heard you blabbing away about how you weren't angry at her even after what she did and that you've treated her well enough already. Who are you trying to fool here?

"You want to pull a fast one on her with your measly abilities? Although Shannon's dumb, the other Jensens aren't stupid at all!"

Shannon was speechless.

She felt that Scott was just taking this opportunity to insult her. She even had the evidence now.

Although Scott didn't hear everything they said, he got the gist from the conversation between them just now.

Connor came by to ask Shannon for help. But how could he ask for help with that awful tone? Even if Shannon could tolerate this, Scott certainly couldn't.

"The Gray family's intentions were exposed ages ago. Yet, you're still trying to act like you're her family? You can't even fool me, let alone a cold-hearted and cruel person like Shannon.
